T.D. & Rowena Everett Building Dedication

Lindsey Wilson College dedicated a building on October 7th, 2007 in honor of Fairview residents T.D. & Rowena Everett. T.D. is a retired Methodist minister and a 1937 graduate of Lindsey Wilson and was president of the student body. He has been a university trustee since 1980.

The newly dedicated 5800-square-foot Everett Building was formerly the library at Lindsey but now has classrooms.

T.D. was quoted as saying, “This is one of the great days we have experienced in our lives. Throughout 70 years … I have known this college, and I have loved this college, and have prayed for this college. This college has grown from a very small college … but it has not reached its vision or maturation. This college has a bright future, a great future.”

Lindsey Wilson President William T. Luckey Jr. said of the Everetts, “It would be hard-pressed to find anyone with a stronger association with this college than Brother T.D. and Rowena.”
